National Social Service Day 2024 was organized by Raiganj Upazila Administration and Upazila Social Service Office with the motto "We will build the country in social service, Bangladesh will be smart".
On this occasion, rallies and discussion meetings were organized. Mr. Advocate Imrul Hossain Talukder, chairman of Raiganj Upazila Parishad, was present as the chief guest. Raiganj Upazila Executive Officer Mr. Mohammad Nahid Hasan Khan presided over the event. In addition, Upazila Social Service Officer Mr. Md. Elias Hasan Sheikh, Assistant Social Service Officer Mr. Md. Shawkat Ali and many other employees of Upazila Social Service Office Raiganj, Sirajganj were also present in the event.
Besides, on the occasion of National Social Service Day, wheelchairs and blankets are distributed among the needy and disabled people.
